How to set Wi-Fi timer?
You can do so by using the following steps:
- On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
- With the settings menu is displayed in grid view, scroll down to the Network connection section and then tap Wi-Fi .
- If Wi-Fi is off, tap the ON/OFF switch to turn it on.
- Tap or long press the Recent apps key to open up the additional options and then select Advanced.
- Tap Wi-Fi timer.
- Set a starting time:
- Check the box next to Set start time.
- Tap the Wi-Fi timer (hour and minute) to adjust the starting time when your phone has to enable Wi-Fi.
- Set an ending time:
- Check the box next to Set end time.
- Tap the Wi-Fi timer (hour and minute) to adjust the ending time when your phone has to disable Wi-Fi.
- Tap Done button.
- The Wi-Fi timer has been set and Wi-Fi in your phone will automatically turn on and off at the scheduled times. FYI, when the Wi-Fi has been turned off according to the Wi-Fi timer, you can still enable Wi-Fi manually if you wish to continue using your Wi-Fi connection to use Internet.
