Change device lock password / PIN

To change device lock password or PIN, follow these steps:

1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap the My device tab.
4. Tap Lock screen.
5. Tap Screen lock.
6. Enter or draw your current PIN or password.
7. Tap the desired screen lock method (for example, PIN).
8. Enter or draw your new PIN or password and then tap OK or Continue.
9. Enter or draw your new PIN or password again and then tap OK or Continue.

Turn on / off device lock

To turn on or turn off the device lock password or PIN, follow these steps:

1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap the My device tab.
4. Tap Lock screen.
5. Tap Screen lock.

To turn on

1. Tap the desired screen lock method (for example, PIN).
   Note: You can also select Face unlock or Face and voice but these methods are less secure.
2. Enter or draw your desired PIN or password.
3. Tap OK or Continue.
4. Enter or draw your PIN or password again to confirm.
5. Tap OK or Continue.

To turn off

1. Enter or draw your PIN or password.
   
2. Tap OK or Continue.
3. Tap None.
